How old is the oldest star? From what we know of the
evolution of stars there seem to be some stars around that are roughly 15
billion years old. However, recent measurements of the age of the universe
suggest that the entire universe is younger than that (maybe 10 billion
years). The answer is probably somewhere between those two numbers.
